How can viruses enter the air conditioning system?
The air conditioning filter, evaporator and air vents are places where microorganisms have ideal conditions to grow – such as low temperature and darkness.
How can we prevent them from entering the passenger cabin?
The only way to prevent this is to clean and disinfect the entire air conditioning system. We use Forte Power-Clean AC Bacteria and Odour Remover which has been designed and developed to kill bacteria and microbial growth within the system, as well as removing the bad odours that can occur.
The solution has been proven to protect from the spread of Covid-19.

Air conditioning
Research has suggested that car air conditioning systems may aid the spread of Coronavirus particles.
Most cars these days come with air conditioning as standard and the benefit of having it is to keep the car cool by removing humidity from the air as water vapour holds on to the heat. However, moisture also works to weigh down the viral droplets and particles as they pass through the air.
Once the water vapour has been removed to allow the air to cool, this may allow the infectious droplets to hang around causing an increased risk of Coronavirus.
It is advised that you open your car window regularly and not to rely on air conditioning all the time. Allowing natural air into your vehicle can decrease the build up of infectious particles.
