Tracking
Book your Tracking in Northampton
Ensuring that your vehicle’s wheels are properly tracked can help to increase the life of tyres, improve the fuel efficiency of your vehicle and improve handling and ride quality.
If wheels aren’t properly aligned you’ll notice uneven wear across the face of the tyre. You may notice more wear on either the inside of the tyre or on the outside wall.
Alignment issues can be corrected either at the time that a vehicle is fitted with new tyres or during the course of running the vehicle. If you are unsure whether your tyres are properly aligned and tracking true, give us a call and book in an appointment.

Wheel Alignment
Cost - 4 wheel alignment - £96
4 wheel alignment is often confused with tracking but involves checking all four wheels are pointing in the same direction (forwards). It's a highly technical process that includes checking each wheels Camber, Caster, Thrust Line, Toe-in and Toe-out.
The result of these not being aligned properly can have the same effects of uneven tyre wear and additional fuel use, so getting this checked regularly is also a good idea and will save you money in the future.
If you're at all confused by this then why not get in touch with our experts who will be more than happy to explain the details further.

Wheel Tracking
Cost - £50
Bad tracking can be the result of your wheels hitting bumps in the road, or bouncing up kerbs when you park, and puts your wheels out of alignment which could mean you would have to replace them sooner.
Getting this checked on a regular basis is a good idea and will save you money in the long run.
